who you are
your day master reveals your core nature — strengths, blind spots, and the way you move through the world.
for 1,000 years, korean fortune-tellers have read destiny through saju — the four pillars of your birth. myeongly brings that ancient system to your phone, powered by AI.
saju (사주, 四柱) reads four pillarsfrom your birth — year, month, day, and hour — alongside the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal & water. the result isn't a generic zodiac blurb. it's a cosmic blueprint unique to you, down to the hour you were born.
“western horoscopes give you 1 of 12. saju gives you 1 of 518,400 — a portrait specific enough to feel like it was written for you alone.”
your reading opens with who you are, then unfolds the rest of your chart, chapter by chapter — all free.

Saju (사주) is a 1,000-year-old Korean astrology system that reads your destiny from four pillars — the year, month, day, and hour of your birth. Each pillar combines a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch, producing one of 518,400 possible charts. Unlike Western horoscopes that sort everyone into 12 signs, Saju gives you a cosmic blueprint unique down to the hour.
Western astrology maps planets against 12 zodiac signs. Saju instead uses the Four Pillars of Destiny and the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) to describe the energy you were born into. Where Western horoscopes give you 1 of 12, Saju gives you 1 of 518,400 — a much higher-resolution read on personality, timing, and life patterns.
Yes — Myeongly is completely free. Your full Saju reading (who you are, your Five Elements balance, the year ahead) and every deeper chapter are all free, with no account, credit card, or email required. The app is supported by ads, so there are no subscriptions or in-app purchases to unlock your chart.
Birth time sharpens the reading, especially the Day Master and Hour Pillar, but it is optional. Myeongly still produces a meaningful Year, Month, and Day Pillar reading without it. If you later learn your birth time, you can update your chart and the reading refreshes instantly.
Your birth date, time, and location are used to compute your chart and generate your reading, and we never sell or share that birth data with advertisers. Myeongly is free and ad-supported, so you may see ads in the app, but they are not personalized using your saju details. You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app or by emailing support.
Saju is traditional Korean astrology combined with AI interpretation. It is intended for personal reflection and entertainment, not as medical, financial, or legal advice. Many users find it useful as a language for self-knowledge and timing, but Myeongly does not claim to predict the future.
The Four Pillars are Year, Month, Day, and Hour — each encoded as a Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch. The Five Elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water — flow through those pillars and describe the energies that shape you. Your Day Master (the Stem of the Day Pillar) is the closest thing Saju has to a 'sign'; it represents your core nature.
Myeongly is a mobile app for iOS and Android. Once your reading is generated it is available offline, so you can reopen it on the subway or without signal. The myeongly.com site is where you learn about the app and download it from the App Store or Google Play.
